About Us
Hi, This is Monila, I have a workshop of '' Hand Embroidaries", wherein more than 30 female workers from financially weaker section of the society are engaged.
I mainly deal in ethnic hand embroideries of india; i.e.
- Kantha work of West Bengal
- Phulkari work of Punjab
- Sindhi Kadai of Gujrat
- Parsi & Orli design of Maharashtra
- Kasuti work of Kerala
- Some fusion work of Madhubani painting ( Bihar) with Shadow work of Lucknow (Chikenkari) of U.P
- Kathiawari of Kutch (Gujrat)
All these intricate hand embroideries are done on Sarees, Salwar suits, Dupatta, Gents Kurtas, Bed spreads Cushions, Scarf, Stoles, hand Bags etc.
I never compromise with quality. I use best of 'Threads' for the embroidery and material like pure Banglore silk, Tassar, pure crepe, cotton etc. Price depends on the design and the material and the labour involved. It takes 15 days to 4 months time to complete a product depending upon the density and volume of the work.

I have started my workshop in the year 1990 and in these seventeen years I have put lot of passion, hardwork into it, but still there is a long way to go. It's a continuous process of innovations of new design, ideas. General I go for very intricate designs which take lot of time and involvement to complete. The designs on any product of mine are independent from one another.
Apart from my above involvement, I am also attached with Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh since its inception and now I hold the post of Vice President of the Organisation. Besides, I also work for Aviva Life Insurnace as FPA and consecutive last three years I got the award of Blue Riband Amabassador, the highest award of the company for my excellent work.
