DOEACC
INTRODUCTION
Department of Information Technology (Formally Department of Electronics), Govt. of India, is implementing the DOEACC Scheme which is an AICTE Scheme. The society was formed on 9th Nov. 1994 and is registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860.
OBJECTIVE
Develop quality manpower in IT by utilizing the expertise available with the non-formal computer training institute.
ACCREDITATION
Computer training institute/organization in yhe non formal sector subject to meeting well defined norms and criteria, are granted accreditation for conducting specified level of courses ranging from
O Level Foundation Level
A Level Advanced Diploma
B Level An MCA equivalent
C Level M. Tech equivalent
(Examination is conducted by the DOEACC Society)
REGISTRATION
Registration is mandatory for students to appear for DOEACC examination. At a point of time a student can be registered at only one level.
(About 4 lakhs candidates are registered)
RECOGNITION
Govt. of India have recognition O/A and B level examinations conducted by the Society as equivalent to foundation course, Advanced Diploma Course and MCA respectively for the employment to posts and services under the central government.
Under and MOU signed with the Central Academy of Information Technology, (CAIT),Ministry of international Trade and Industry, Japan DOEACC 'A', 'B' and 'C' levelqualifiers and eligible for issue of visas by Govt. of Japan as a result of MOU.
AWARD OF CERTIFICATES
The students would be eligible for the award of CERTIFICATE on successfully qualifying the Theory Examinations and the Project by DOEACC Society.
